Shawn Tam

Shawn Tam studied with renowned cellist Professor Ray Wang and Dora Lam, Assistant Principal Cello of Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra and graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2015. He has attended masterclasses given by numerous notable cellists, such as David Waterman, Liwei Qin, Yao Zhao, Hai-Ye Ni, Zvi Plesser and Keith Robinson. Shawn is also active in participating in chamber music and has taken lessons with members of the Miami Quartet, the Endellion Quartet and the Chilingirian Quartet. He also performed in numerous places such as Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance and Hong Kong Asia society, among others.
