Evette Chiu Yat-wing

Evette Chiu Yat-wing is a Hong Kong born bassist. She began her Bachelor of Music degree at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2012 under Eddie Zong and continued her study at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in Germany under Prof. Gottfried Engels, obtaining two master’s degrees in solo playing and orchestra playing. She completed fellowships programmes with Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie and Dortmunder Philharmoniker. As a freelance player, she has worked with the Staatsorchester Rheinische Philharmonie and the Hong Kong Sinfonietta.
