Prison Yard Festival: Music from within – Weekend Yard Music

26 November, 2023 (Sunday) 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm

Nowadays, the confines of Tai Kwun’s Prison Yard no longer detain and restrain – it has become a platform for budding talents to express and flourish, complete with autumn breeze and gentle birdsongs.

The outdoor concert stage for Prison Yard Festival turns into a musical haven during the Festival weekend for promising young musicians from The Orchestra Academy (TOA) to curate free Weekend Yard Music mini-programmes that resonate with the Festival’s overarching theme.

Simply drop by during weekend afternoons and be delighted by the fresh artistic perspectives and outstanding musicianship of TOA musicians in the cozy, welcoming environment of the Prison Yard!
